Japanese ohajiki sea glass & sterling silver pendant.

One of a kind pendant composed with genuine Japanese ohajiki sea glass . The sea glass is set in fine silver bezel, the chain is sterling silver. 

"Ohajiki (おはじき) is a traditional Japanese children's game similar to marbles. It is played with small coin-shaped pieces also called ohajiki. The pieces are typically made of glass, although historically the game was often played with pebbles or go stones."

Necklace size:

The ohajiki pendant is approx. 1.8 cm long and 1.8 cm wide ( without the bail).
The chain is extendable 16" cm (40 cm) to 18" (45 cm).

Materials

All my jewellery is hand made by myself in my small studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.
I only use genuine and natural Scottish sea glass and beach pottery, that I collected over the years on various beaches in and around Edinburgh.
Bezel is made of fine silver, chain is sterling silver.

Packaging

Your jewellery comes with a custom made eco-friendly presentation box. I tried to reduce as much carbon footprint as possible when choosing and ordering the packaging. My boxes are made in the EU and my supplier guarantees that the glue, paper and cardboard of the box are 100% eco-friendly and the cardboard comes from a FSC® certified forest, where no more wood is cut down than the forest can reproduce.
